  • Gas boiler upgrade
  • Electrical heating upgrade
  • Loft insulation
  • Cavity Wall insulation

If you live in Portsmouth and surrounding areas (PO post codes), you will qualify if you receive any of the below: (other areas can be checked for you don’t give up your chance for free funding)

  • In receipt of any means-tested benefit
  • In receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • In receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • In receipt of Attendance Allowance
  • On the Energy Companies Priority Services register (those at most risk from the effects of a power cut)
  • Has a pre-existing long term chronic condition such as: heart disease, stroke or transient ischaemic attack (TIA), asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or diabetes.
  • Has dementia, learning disabilities or mental ill-health that reduces individuals’ ability to self-care
  • Aged 60 and over
  • Is pregnant
  • Cardiovascular conditions
  • Respiratory conditions (Inc. asthma)
  • Mental health conditions
  • Disabilities
  • Terminally ill
  • Suppressed immune system (e.g. from cancer treatment or HIV)
  • Responsible for a child under 15 living in the property

If none of the above

You can still qualify under the ‘Low Income High Cost’ criteria by meeting both A) and B), as below:

A)
Is the resident in receipt of an income related benefit?
Or
Does the household have an annual income of less than £35,000 after paying rent/mortgage, council tax and utilities bills?

AND B)
Does the household have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D or lower? (*There is further funding If the resident does not have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC))
